The anniversary card made of real astronomy

Your love story, told by the Moon.

Enter the day you met. Orbits counts every full moon you've shared, the miles you've travelled around the Sun together, the eclipses you lived through, and the day you'll have been together longer than apart. Then it makes it a card.

Real NASA-grade math

How it works

A star map shows one night.
Orbits shows all of them.

1๐Ÿ“…

Your dates

The day you met, your wedding day, and (if you like) both birthdays. First names only. That's it.

2๐ŸŒ•

Real astronomy

The same orbit math observatories use (Astronomy Engine) finds every full moon and eclipse in your years together and traces Earth's real path around the Sun.

A card to give

Pick a colour, let AI write a few words from your numbers (or write your own), and get the card, its own page to share, and a print-ready PDF.

How many full moons have you shared?

Put in the day you met. Add both birthdays to find the day you'll have been together longer than you were apart. It's worked out right here in your browser: nothing is sent anywhere.

Questions

Is it really real astronomy?

Yes. Orbits uses Astronomy Engine, an open-source library that computes the positions of the Sun, Moon and planets to within an arcminute. Full moons, eclipses and Earth's path around the Sun are calculated for your exact dates, not looked up from a table.

We don't know the exact day we met.

Pick your best guess, or your first date, or use your wedding day only: the card works from either. A day or two changes the numbers a little, never the story.

Why do you ask for birthdays?

Only for the "together longer than apart" day, and they're optional. They're used in your browser to do the math. If you keep the card, only what's printed on it is saved.

What do I get for the price?

The finished card without the preview stripe, its own link to share, a print-ready PDF, and your account to edit it or make more cards (for your parents' anniversary, say). You pay once.

Can I print it?

Yes. The card's page prints to a clean US Letter PDF: your card on page one, the solar system and your timeline on page two. It looks great on card stock or framed.
